Empowerment Through Enterprise (ETE) will provide high quality innovative enterprise education to young migrant and minority ethnic women – helping them realise their full potential. We will do this by improving the available teaching materials and educating entrepreneurship educators on the difficulties which young women face.
Current research shows that Enterprise Educators are ill-equipped to deal with the needs of minority ethnic and migrant women. By providing opportunities for professional development for staff in VET institutions, Youth work organisations and Migrant Services Organisations ETE will improve the access to and quality of entrepreneurship education within the context of inclusion and diversity so as to unlock the potential of young people.
