We are in the midst of an unprecedented global health and economic crisis. We do not know how long this situation will last. We do not know who will be affected or how they will be affected. Scientists and politicians around the world are trying to respond with no experience in living memory to fall back on. Solutions will unfold and be applied and we will recover, but at this stage all we can do is to take the Government’s health advice seriously.
Dungannon Enterprise Centre staff are here to support small businesses where ever we can. Some businesses have suddenly lost customers, work contracts and are having to halt their trading activities. However, other businesses are continuing to trade and are determined to keep open unless told otherwise by Government. The Enterprise Centre Business Park remains open so long as we have enough numbers of businesses needing to do so. The management of the site cannot take unilateral action to shut DEC down in the absence of advice to do so from the Government.
We all know that this is unprecedented times. I appeal to all the entrepreneurs in our local community - your employees, customers, suppliers and families will eventually be looking to you for reassurance and guidance. You may feel worried and concerned but remember, this too will pass.
Please be patient. We, like you, are dependent on Government to give us leadership. The Centre’s Business Advisors are actively scanning for information to share with businesses through social media channels and www.dungannonenterprise.com to help you through this crisis. Please follow us on Facebook to keep up to date.
