The Charity fundraising event, “he Jingle Ball Run 2023” has been hailed as a success by the traders in Dungannon. The spectacle of seeing thousands of multi coloured plastic balls roll from the top of Castle Hill to the cheers of many spectators and the music from DJ Chris, was something the town has never witnessed before. Dungannon Enterprise Centre played its part in organising the Jingleball Run 2023 on behalf of Dungannon Traders Association.
the charity event, which was originally planned for December and had to be rescheduled cause road closure order was not in place, supported St. Vincent Paul, the Vineyard Food Bank Appeal and Zambia Education and Development and was hosted by Adrian Logan.
10,000 coloured balls were released from the top off the hill in Dungannon and each ball was numbered. Owner of the first ball down the hill 1000 pounds with runner up prizes of 500 pounds.
Organiser of the event on behalf of the Dungannon Traders Association, Brian MccAuley, was very happy with how the event went and was glowing in his prayers for the many volunteers and sponsors who helped make the evening such a success.
“As this was the first time Dungannon had seen anything like this, I was overwhelmed by the feedback we received providing some late entertainment in the town. It allowed shoppers on a Saturday evening to stay in town and witness the first Jingle Ball Run At the same time as helping three worthy charities.
